DAS/DSS/DTS data innsamling ved Svelvik CO₂ Field Lab

The activities in this project will consist of data collection from fiber optic cables (DTS / DAS / DSS) during the Pre-ACT campaign in October 2019.

Research is being done on the use of fiber optic sensor systems as a potential monitoring solution for CO₂ storage. It is a good opportunity to be able to compare the data from the fiber optic measurements with the other (traditional) methods for the same physical system. This will be possible during the injection tests in the autumn of 2019 at Svelvik CO₂ Field Lab.

Collected data will be quality controlled and stored securely so that this data can form the basis for a future KPN application where fiber optic data will be analyzed and compared with conventional seismic data collected by the Pre-ACT project.
