CO₂-capture and hydrogen production by use of Pd-membranes

The project is based on the development of a novel fabrication technology for hydrogen-selective palladium-membranes. To verify the essential parts of the technology REINERTSEN AS, in cooperation with SINTEF, has planned for the establishment of a pilot plant for live testing of the membrane technology. Included in the plans is further work to scale up the membrane production process, and develop effective means for handling of the membrane. Design of a membrane module and fabrication of a test module are also essential parts of the testing period.
