Amines and aminerelated compounds in freshwaters in Norway

Amine-based CO₂ capture leads to the release of small amounts of amine into the atmosphere which can subsequently be degraded to other substances such as nitrosamines and nitramines. The project investigates the background level of amines and amine-related compounds in Norwegian freshwater and the investigations will include regional as well as seasonal variations.
