Microseismic monitoring and geomechanical interpretation at In Salah – fase 1

Demonstrate the application and further develop micro-seismic as a monitoring method of a CO₂ storage. Sub-goal: Map seismic events in light of the CO₂ injection. Explain observed seismic events by comparing with other geophysical measurements, geological data and geomechanical models. Increase the understanding of rock mechanical response due to the CO₂ injection, verify the integrity of the roofing rock and assist in optimizing the CO₂ injection.
