CO₂ Monitoring: test of seismic processing workflow on passive seismic and methods for co- interpretation of seismic and non-seismic data in the offshore

The project’s goal is to implement and test processing methods and techniques on available passive seismic data.
This includes
-Different filtering methods and event detection / location.
-Use rock physics (frequency, seismic velocities and
Attenuation) to update a 3D geo-model and interpretation of passive seismic data.
Furthermore
-Examine whether seismic sensors in the PRM system can be used to measure possible deformation of the seabed as a result of injection.
– Further develop the possibilities to include gravimetric measurements in a permanent monitoring system.
When accessing several types of different geophysical data, a test version of a tool for graphical presentation / visualization of interpreted data will be developed.
